I absolutely love VW bugs!!!! I had one in high school and college. I think we need to bring these back onto the assembly line! This photo is dedicated to my Photographer friend Timm…with two M’s.

We had a VW Bug… That car was the bomb. I wish I still had it… We ran it into the ground, literally…
VW’s are eternal ! I wish I still had mine too!
Excellent! VW’s with engine in the back, no radiator, windshield so close (break your finger if you try to point)! I have been wanting to build an electric VW. Plenty of room in the front trunk for batteries. I have a 1962 ragtop fully restored VW bug that I drive for fun. I remember your bug. Good times.
You build it, I’ll buy it!
Okay, Vic, stop reading my mind. I read Timm’s comment and immediately thought the exact same thing! What I wouldn’t give for a rag top VW…
Good times, indeed!
Thanks Vic, thanks Timm… Good memories too!
Prescott, almost daily Megan and I say to each other, “Hey get out of my head”!!! Congrats my dear you’re apart of the group!
My seven-year-old daughter has been making me watch the Herbie movie. The newer one with Lidsay Lohan I think. Anyway, it has a vintage vw playing the part of Herbie and it has a new version little yellow bug playing Herbie’s love interest. It’s so cute. He winks at her. I kept thinking. Gosh, he’s too old for her, but then I realized that true love is ageless…
Oh.
I mean…
I’ve never owned a bug but I wanted to. A friend of mine has a cute VW bus. It always looks like it’s smiling.
Yeah, that’s the comment I meant to leave.
Claire, never apologize for watching kid movies even if its a talking car. Why just the other day I was singing Disney songs with my (grown) kids in the car! Oh and I think you’re gut instincts are right about the winking Herbie, clearly she needs someone age appropriate, even keeping in mind that love is “ageless”!
Thanks for stopping by hun!
