Dear critters, yes, they do have a sense of how we feel, and do respond. I get my free “doggies” in the store where I work and customer pets are allowed in the door. And some by now even remember me too.
I grew up with cats. Grandmother wouldn’t turn any hungry felines away. They knew. And returned, again and again.
Unconditional love, no matter the source, is always and ever the finest gift. May we learn and participate. Thanks Miss Vicki!
I love pets. There have been very few times in my life when I didn’t have a cat or a dog or both. I have a cat now who thinks he’s my 9 year old son’s guard dog. It’s such fun to watch.
I don’t know how people live without them quite honestly, unless they are allergic….they add so much joy to our lives!
Thanks Claire…I love it when you come by for a quick visit! I think we’d be great neighbors!
The dog’s face shows he knows how the little boy is feeling.
I know, isn’t it sweet? This photo is of a little boy whose Dad was deployed with the military.
