It was eight years ago today many innocent lives were sacrificed on the altar of ideology. The fiery tempest roared into the belly of our land taking with it our sense of sheltered immunity and fortified safety. For a moment, we were forced to our knees in dust and ashes and most of all monumental national grief. Our internal clocks stood still to the point that even today, we could effortlessly say what we were doing at the very hour of such a carnal act. So today, we take a moment as we remember those lost, those in grief and those still fighting and holding back evil upon our land.
