I’ll be off for a few days too…..in the countryside…We’ll catch up when you’re back in the ‘sphere….good painting…….great header
Thanks Sean! Have a great time in the countryside , we’ll compare notes when we both return!
Until then, Hugs my friend!
Now you’ve driven me crazy trying to think of that guy’s name. Aghh. Bob??? I actually watched him a few times, and always think, “You know, I gotta go get some paint and a canvas and give this thing a shot.” He made it look totally doable! Have fun Vicki! Remember, it’s all show and tell!
That would be Bob Ross! Mr. “Happy little Trees”!
And yes , he made it look easy!
I think you should paint all those beautiful surroundings you live around! Go for it!!
Love ya kiddo!
You’ll be missed. In fact, you already are.
But I am also all glad that you are taking some time for yourself to paint. That’s wonderful!
I hope you’ll have something to share of your work when you come back to play and keep us all color-light-hearted once again! Your friend.
Ahhhh , thank you Mr. Neil!
I’m trying to stay true to my first love…PAINTING!
Yes, I will share, I promise!
Love ya my friend!
Looks like late September is the time to take off, officially!
You’ll be gone (for no more than a few days of course:D), FJ is already gone, Sean is off to the country side, and I’ll be gone for a 2 week vacation this weekend!
Have fun, relax, and do come back and share your painting escapades:) Can’t wait to see.
Fab header, as always.
Have a wonderful time my sweet Shipra!
Be sure to stay in touch!
Love ya Hun!
Paint away! I have been doing zen VW engine building. Kind of like gardening but instead of dirt, you use grease oh and instead of a shovel, you use a wrench and instead of beautiful flowers or vegetables you see machined parts… ok they are not even similar! Have fun! Timm
“Zen VW engine building”, I like that!
Is this a new VW you’re working on? We’ll need to see photos!
Thanks for stopping by and oh yes…I was in the dirt this week as well winterizing the garden!
So I was in the dirt….just like your grease!
Love you hun!
This is engine is for my 1962 ragtop bug. The engine is not stock and will hide quite a bit of horsepower under the deck lid when it is installed next week. It is a beautiful car that I believe only has 81,000 original miles. I searched for this car for a few years. The criteria: Original anthracite gray exterior, tomato red interior, ragtop and had to be a 1962 (year my lovely wife was born). I found it on Ebay in Washington State and shipped it to California. The color combination of Gray with Red is very cool and rare. I will post photos when it is back on the road.
Just checking in my dear Miss Vicki, and no need to respond till you’re ready. Sometimes of late I’ve felt a desire myself to step away a little bit, change the scene, but then Shipra or Sean or someone has some lovely new post, and of course RWP too and the poem prompts – and what am I to do!
Doing my “homework” both poetic and social too.
And thanks for all the inspiration you’ve been to me! Keep painting my friend.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m getting some things accomplished this week and it feels good. Should be back online early next week.
I miss everyone including you!
Hugs my good friend!
Hope your painting is comong along and you are in a good frame of mind.
Thank you Sean…
All is well…and I am in a wonderful “frame of mind”
Appreciate you stopping by ….
Hi V , that o is really an i
Timm , that rag top sounds great….I was reading that the last old-style Volkswagen Beetle was car number 21,529,464 of the model…….so getting parts might not be a problem.
