Ahhh!! Its great to be back online. I took a few days off to creatively catch my breath and reconnect with my love of painting. I guess you could say, painting is my creative muse of sorts.
For me, painting is a full contact sport. It may look a bit chaotic from a distance, but I assure you all my senses are fully engaged.
In the midst of all the colors and textures of my day, I was meditatively chewing like a ruminant mammal for new ideas to share on future postings.
Most of all , I’d like to say thank you for all the sweet Emails, Face Book messages and comments from my loyal friends and readers. I missed you and hope in the days ahead I’ll bring you some newly hatched ideas!
Everyone has asked me to post my work…and I will. I’m still in the process, but I thought I’d post some previous paint projects of mine for now .
Most of my painting on wood has been in the form of furniture, but several months ago I painted a bunch of wooden bracelets for fun. Here’s just a few samples.

This is a small section of a gallery wall in my home leading to my library room. Can you guess which oil painting is mine?

Looking forward to the days ahead and hopefully we’ll all share in the delight of creative blogging! Hugs everyone!

Dear Miss Vicki of course you know how glad I am, we are, to have you back again!
Thank you for all the beautiful colors you bring, already splashing in! I know these bright good colors really only reflect the heart you share.
And I eager await learning what your brush strokes have been up to out of sight. And, and so that’s some of your gallery? Begs the first question, they’re not all yours? But if I had to choose, I’d begin first with the three most colorful. And of them, the gathered group, to the bottom left – the most of the most. And knowing otherwise nothing at all of your artful preferences. Yet those three do all share some common regard for color I think. Are you teasing? Did you do only one? So, do I get an apple or a prune?
Welcome home!
Hey Neil !
So happy to see you here…its only been a week , but it feels much longer when I’m away from my good friends!
Its no surprise that you would choose the bright colored oil paintings. That’s usually what I paint, but the one I painted on this gallery wall is the English looking houses above the Cathedral Oil painting. Most of my paintings in my house are hanging on another wall leading to the upstairs.
It was a good guess though!
So I’m giving you an apple and for good measure….a nectarine!!!! Oh and a hug too!
I love “meditatively chewing like a ruminant mammal,” that my dear is an instant classic. I hope that you had fun with your painting projects and can’t wait to see the labor of your love!
I guessing that ‘Naked on Bed’ is yours. But it could also be ‘Row Houses on a Hill.’ I love your jewelry as well, I think that you could sell it. Keep up the good work!
Bingo my son….its the row of English houses! For that, I’ll be sending you a bowl of nectarines and dandelion soup! Hehe!
Thank you for all your sweet comments….
Love ya kiddo!
I forgot to ask when your brother is coming back??
Talked to my Mom yesterday, she told me he was getting a new computer. I’ll tell him you asked about’m !
Is “houses” your painting? I think I love it the most
Yes! Nadezhda! That’s amazing…you’re right! Its the houses!
I love it that its your favorite! Thank you so much Sweetie!
Good to see you again!
Hugs!
Good luck with all of this.
I’m going to be painting on walls in a couple of weeks too.
Hey 25!
Good to see you and good painting !
Thanks again for stopping by!
I knew it was the houses! Yay! Also, I absolutely LOVE the wooden bracelets.
Thank you Claire…how did you know it was the houses? Am I that obvious….? LOL
It was because of the colors
I think the most colorful painting in the pic is yours, a guess based on your pallete, a very colorful pallete.
Super great writing! Truely..
Thank you so much! I’ve been thinking about posting again….your comment has helped me decide! Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry for the late reply! Thank you so much for the compliment and thanks for dropping by!
