That may be for Timm, but I love that pic and that car!!
Me too Scott! Turns out Timm had an orange VW.
Its funny, go read his last comment on my orange and gray post! You’ll get a kick out of it!
Love ya kid!
Glaring picture
HaHa! A pun! I love it!
Hugs!
I used to hate orange but I’ve gotten very into it in the last year or so (and you know I want to paint my entry an orange-y color!). Where do you find your beautiful pictures? I’m curious to know if those are your paint-covered hands in your earlier post.
Thank you, as always, for brightening my day!
xo
HaHa…Yes BKT! My hands are almost always covered in paint!
So glad you want to paint your entry orange-y ! My suggestion with orange paint is you use a tented primer, or you will be doing at least three coats of paint. Orange paint doesn’t cover very well. I know, our last house had two big orange-y rust walls!
Thanks for stopping by hun!
Hugs!
PS. Tint the primer GREY, not orange, matched to the level of brightness/darkness of the orange you’ll be using. Works best that way. (Paint is my other business…)
Another good one Vicki!
And… another color and more. A writer I newly learned about. She did some spots on that new Ken Burns “America’s National Parks” program – and in those couple minutes, I knew I wanted more. Just started one, with four more to go! Terry Tempest Williams. She’s from Utah and been around lots and lots, one strong observer and voice for the wilderness. And that’s filled with, yes, color and story in abundance. Reading “An Unspoken Hunger” right now. Excellent! One piece about Georgia O’Keeffe! And her writing is near like one long poem too!
(Yea, like I know you got nothing but time on your hands! But some things are worth the pause along the way. I know you know.)
I think you might well be pleased. And good medicine for both spirit and heart. (Powells.com had lots of her books, and used, for very good prices too.)
Thanks for the orange!
Thanks for the suggestion Mr.Neil…and you’re welcome for the Orange! Always a pleasure!
Hugs my friend!
I had to flip back over to see Timm’s comment. I’m still giggling but that is such an awful thing to giggle about! I also realized that this post has no title. It’s simply called “Next post”. Interesting, but certainly lacking the pizazz your posts have!
I didn’t notice it said, “Next Post”, I’ll have to fix that. You’re such a great editor!
Wasn’t Timm’s post funny and sad?LOL
Thanks Claire…its great to see you hun!
Hugs
I LOVE IT! The photo reminded me that I was told by an old guy, “don’t leave that orange VW on the street on Halloween, cause the kids will think it is a pumpkin and mess with it.” He spoke as if he had history with an orange VW. Thanks Vicki for the post. I had to laugh yesterday, I went and purchased an auto fire extinguisher that I am mounting in my “new” VW. Hope I never have to use it. But at least this bug is already gray! Photo soon. Thanks again.
Yes Timm…can’t wait to see the new VW photos!
Glad you purchased a new fire extinguisher…
Hugs
